We only have a handful of customers. Is this overkill?
A small book is fine. The Free plan covers one user, one workspace, up to 100 customers, unlimited projects and tasks, dashboard, calendar, and one spreadsheet import of up to 100 rows. You don't need a card to start.
Can we keep using Excel too?
Yes. Importing does not delete the file. You can export from ClientPlot later if you want a spreadsheet again.
Does it replace QuickBooks or our invoicing?
